If there were a scene that niggled me as a constant reminder that I should get back into photography after 6 years it was this one. Anyone familiar with the A1 motorway traveling up into North Yorkshire will know this place as Ferrybridge power station. It was announced that it was to be decommissioned some years ago and I always thought that I would have plenty of time to shoot this scene but never got around to it till the final week of it being in service, unfortunately it was not operating at full capacity and my opportunity to capture all the billowing clouds from the towers had passed.
